I prefer to have a daylight or warmer light than a cool one. Also, many of us have worked --at one time or another, in a darkened or semi darkened space because it makes the flames more visible--this is especially true for those of us who began our careers using leaded glass, which required the burners to be run with a lean mixture which produced a faint violet color flame. These days, no matter which glass I am using, I like to have the torches in a dimmer light and the bending table with pattern well illuminated. I also try to provide brighter light at the manifold and dimmer over the end of the bench where the tube being process is so that the electrode shells getting hot is more visible. Then, a brighter daylight color light over any workspace used for final assembly type tasks.
This is fairly easy to accomplish with use of a proper fixture to direct the bulk of the light over the table. Since the fixtures you are looking at can be adjusted, you can simply try each setting and see what you prefer. Lastly, once you make that determination......you may find it desirable to make your own lighting using 15mm or 18mm tubing of your color choice and bend it to your space as needed.
