I was approached by a reporter from the Wall Street Journal this morning, as was at least one other person I know.  The line of questioning was relatively general but focused mostly upon the traditional GREEN tubing that we have all used for decades and which is no longer made.  I wonder why the interest in this color specifically......is something brewing?

Interesting. More around the materials that make my least favorite wavelength of light.

I go however like  amber and warm white, and you need green for warm white in a triphosphor context. So green is needed for sure.

I have since found out that this reporter was doing a neon interview with someone who used the recent reformulation of the green as an example of some of the supply problems we have encountered in recent years and so this reporter was seeking out other sources to fact-check the story, hence his call to me yesterday.
